If You Could Dance in My Shoes partners with Soles4Souls, an organization committed to providing shoes and clothing around the world, reducing waste, helping the homeless and those who have experienced disasters, and providing business opportunities in economically disadvantaged areas. In conjunction with retailers like Zappos and DSW, they work to create sustainable micro businesses worldwide.
When children see a need, they want to help others. If You Could Dance in My Shoes helps them understand the phrase "if you could walk in my shoes" in a very concrete way. It also gives kids an opportunity to help others by collecting shoes and funds for Soles4Souls. |
