From Kim Ingram, Composer/Founder, Open Heart Musicals
When I heard about this show, I wondered how a children’s Christmas musical could tackle a serious topic like SIDS. Diane Beckstead’s script handles it beautifully: there is humor in the kids’ interactions, honesty about loss, and such tenderness in the children’s sweet gift to their friend. The songs are beautiful and well-arranged; your young singers will shine. But best of all, the kids will be teaching about safe sleep, which truly can save a precious young life. If you think your children will love making a serious impact with their Christmas musical, consider celebrating the birth of the Savior with No Crib for a Bed.

“On behalf of everyone associated with Cribs for Kids, including all of our partners who attended the 4th National Cribs for Kids Conference at the Omni Hotel in Pittsburgh, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks ….for your presentation…..Everyone told me that this was our ‘best conference ever.’
The most amazing thing about the performance was that through your words and beautiful music the children and families …. will learn about infant safe sleep in this unique way. Your work will result in the saving of babies’ lives throughout the country.”
