As Nana and Pappy, helped by their grandchildren, decorate their Christmas tree, each ornament becomes a memory of their many blessings. The children are especially intrigued by the ornaments featuring baby pictures of relatives but puzzled to find their mother’s baby photo is missing. Nana explains the mystery, weaving in the amazing story of Christ’s birth, as Pappy enthusiastically wraps the tree (and sometimes the children) in an outrageous mix of twinkling lights and flashy garland. When finished, the extravagant display delights the children and reminds us all of God’s enduring love. At just 25 minutes, this is the perfect mini musical for a Sunday service or Christmas Eve.
