This summer we'll focus on (drum roll).....pets!Animals are not only our furry friends, but valuable and skilled assistants who help us in a multitude of ways. Our new musical is set in the Wohisme Animal Shelter where manager Sandy has an almost magical ability to find homes for its fuzzy (feathery, scaly) guests. But even Sandy can't convince a human to give Max, a sad golden retriever left by her elderly owners, and Pumpkin, a feisty stray cat who calls himself "Killer," new homes. The otherwise successful Woofstock Adoption Extravaganza ends with Max and Pumpkin the only two animals left in the shelter. Sandy makes one last pitch...and to Max and Pumpkin's dismay, it works!

NEW! Students in this year's musical theatre camp will have the unique opportunity to learn puppetry with the help of resources offered by artists at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. In addition to singing, acting, and dancing, we'll make our own puppets and learn how to utilize puppetry to tell this funny, heartwarming story. Offstage, we'll be collecting supplies to help our furry friends at the Butler County Humane Society!
